Southern Missouri | These are full grown barely able to walk through precision leveled furrow irrigated soybeans , you’d destroy many bushels per acre trying to put a ground rig through there , only option we had before was hand weeding or an airplane and a plane this time of year won’t get close to anything with herbicides, I’m talking a few hundred feet close and I don’t blame plane pilots one bit , I wouldn’t get close to anything else with herbicides doing 165 mph either , drone is an absolute blessing for areas such as was done in this instance, at 1.5 gal per acre can do easy 50 acres an hour , twice over a quarter section still ain’t bad compared to any other way our dumb butts can figure out | |
