Southern Missouri | That is for sure on operator having control of job done and pattern , fungicide is no more half our spray acres , soybean desiccation is huge for drones here because any other type aerial can’t control their field edges nearly as well as the drone , I’ve put it on numerous times , if you want to see your spray pattern absolutely perfectly, put gramoxone on green soybeans on a warm day and 24 hrs later you can see where every droplet landed , we’re doing 21 ft to 23 ft swath width and 12 to 15 ft above canopy , that is our result from doing gramoxone on several thousand acres of green soybeans last two years , wind speed needs to be very low , just our experience but , low wind and that pattern gives us the best results, dang near ground rig results, drone uses same amount of water on 40 acres at 21 or 22 ft swath as it does at 30 ft , just takes a few more passes , drone makes a pass really fast , doesn’t take much longer to do that 40 acres at the narrower swath and results are dang sure worth it to us , probably just us but man we’ve did a lot of experimenting
