Always interesting how you can check a field and see double ears then return a few weeks later and see nothing. Agree anything with a little sand is done for, still plenty of corn that needs until Oct to get close to black layer but looks less hopeless than at beginning of month. Waterlogged rings around wet areas just shy of zero chance of making it.
