Central Illinois - west of Peoria
It takes a faceplate , wiring harness , PTO yoke and steel bar to connect both sides of the header height rods under the head to make it work on a 25-23 series combine. We bought a 3020 last winter for our 7130 that was set up for a 2377 and then sold the adapter plate and other parts .
While being a bit rare - they are out there .
I’d checked into running a Deere 630 and it’s not quite as simple as it sounds
Headsite adapter ( not cheap )
Face plate adapter or modify the head which really hurts the resale
No doubt Deere may be a better head but by the time you buy the kit and head site system - you’ve got a pile of money in it
First year with a 3020 and I’ll let you know how good it is or isn’t- we’ve ran a pile of 1020’s over the years and once set up properly they cut well
