E ND | 99% of people would have heard the "2 free oil changes" offer with purchase and assumed it to be using the OMM's recommended oil at the recommended interval.
You thought that was an open ended offer to do the services using whatever fluid and filters you pick? Most drivers use whatever the oil change place dumps in without a second thought, if you have some specific potion you want to use I would have had that written in to the "we owe" contract or offer to carry the parts in at time of service if you're passionate about oil.
I doubt 15,000 miles of GM dino oil will hurt the life of your engine but if you're only putting on 5k a year, I get that you should use what you're comfortable with for a long term vehicle. | |
