Dealer I bought my new Colorado told me 2 free oil changes with purchase, this is 2nd new pickup in 4 years, called the service manager other day to see how many miles I should have before first oil change, he said 3-5000, told him I would like to go to Mobile 1 synthetic, he said fine but I would have to pay for the oil change since I wasn't using GM oil, so much for a free oil change and nobody ever told me I had to use GM oil to get the free oil change. Guess I will just do it myself
Tell your dealer to pull his head out of his ass, Mobil is factory fill oil. Take the free change, it should be M1.
