| It depends on how much work you want to put in to it. I usually use rubbing compound with 6" Harbor Freight polisher with foam pads. If it doesn't get all the oxidized paint off I do it again. Then wax right away. I usually start with the coarse foam pad. My son had an older truck that was pretty faded and a friend of his came out and wet sanded the whole thing with 1000 grit sandpaper(I think) then used some special polish on it. Looked like new when he was done. | |
