It looks like there are at least 2 pieces of drip edge that are bowed outward. Maybe those pieces were damaged as if they were lying on the ground and stepped on, or in a bundle of building materials that were strapped down on the delivery truck.
I did roofing in my younger days and there is no way that my former employer would allow that.
