The big advantage is the conventional cylinder which is quite power efficient in high straw loads. Usually a walker machine will have issues separating all the material it can handle, especially when tough. The rotors fix this issue.
A normal rotor machine will draw more power in tough conditions. So that's another advantage.
Coupled with a decent cleaning system and good residue management they are a well functioning machine.
That being said the competition is catching up and making simpler machines that probably are more reliable. | |
