The quicker you can get rid of a 3000 series 12 head the better. We fought all these things and finally gave up and bought a 3312 head. The head is built heavier and works by far better than the 3000. The only complaint is the snoots are alittle too long for going around sharp curves. That being said we will probly look at other heads next time.
