Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | You could throw some 9-23-30 and pellitized lime on it. While you are waiting for the soil test results. Hard to get to much of any of that if your soils is similar to ours. I’d be careful in you climate taking advice from midwest
Guys. I have Friend in Crossville TN. Their growing season is similar to ours due to elevation I guess. However they do things way different than us. And here in southern Ohio climate and soils are a world different than most of the Midwest. Here it’s hard to screw up tritical. But I’ve never had it yield enough more forage than wheat to make it worth the extra seed cost. Seemed the little extra forage made it even harder than wheat to get dry. Now that I’m wet wrapping hay I may revisit it. Anyway I think you did good getting it planted now. And only herbicide I’d worry about will be next spring according to what weeds come back.
