There are nearly 1000 ingredients in the USA food supply that have been banned in other countries,,, a thought to ponder...72redneck,,on the produce in a store,,there are many minor use chems in produce but the vast majority are very very low in residue levels.There is how ever a petroleum based wax with a fungicide in it that is used on many of the cucumbers you will find in a commercial market,,try peeling the skin off.
