Subject: How would you handle this semi repair?

NE Indiana
Our a/c quit working in our Mack semi. I did everything I knew to get it fixed. everything would work fine if I put power directly to the compressor. But for some reason the truck wouldn't send power to the compressor. I bypassed the high and low pressure sensors to rule them out and it made no difference. Decided it was electrical so took it to the mack dealer. They called this morning and said they broke some bolts off of the oil pan and would need to get a whole new pan, but its back ordered. I said what in the world where they doing with the oil pan that had anything to do with the AC compressor wiring. They said well the work order said to replace the compressor and they broke something on the oil pan while changing it. Again, I never told them to change the compressors as that's something I would have done myself if it was needed. They then found that a bad temp sensor somewhere in the system was the reason the compressor wasn't getting power. How would you proceed? Appears it's going to be several grand to get something fixed I never told them to touch.
