China has required the cutting 4 million sows from the breeding herd and will most likely cut another 2 million early next year. Keep in mind the total US sow herd is about 6 million head.

These are the kinds of things that get done when a country over counts it's population by 200 to 300 million people



Except something smells. Current pork prices are 21% above year ago in China. However first quarter futures are 26% below year ago. Meal prices are telling me China is not liquidating as they announced
