Subject: RE: sealing a pond

NW Ohio,near Findlay
Do exactly what John Burns said. I was a pond builder for long time. The tree roots got it. Never have trees around a pond. The tree will die and the roots will rot, and a direct channel out the pond, have redone many same problem.
Of course I know nothing about your pond as to getting around it with track hoe, dozer, sheepsfoot roller. A 50x 50 pond is hardly worth doing anything with it. Too costly to repair. May upset you, but I would forget about it, fill it in.
