Farmington, Mo | Like a couple others have said, skip the wire and install posts every 100-200’. That wire will do you no good, cause countless problems and cost you more money than needed to do what you want.
I’d go a step further and slip a piece of white PVC pipe about 10-12’ tall over each post so it’s visible when crop is in the field. Not sure the exact size it takes to slip over a common T-post but something around 2” should probably work.
This way you won’t have to hire the job done, use autosteer to lay out the line and pound the posts with the neighbor in about an hour. | |
