Big Sky Country
Yup. Difference between forage digesting and grain digesting “bugs”. ‘Antagonistic’ might be too strong a word, small amounts of grain really not productive. Seems like you want to feed at least 4/10 of 1% of body weight or not bother

Sometimes results are different than intentions——1,ooo cow ranch, in montanas “big open’——wintertime—cows scattered from hell to breakfast—little bunches in every coulee, got along fine.

New owners——‘let’s cake ‘em”——which consolidated the cows, now way too many for limited range. And a couple pounds of cake a day don’t get it. Spend time and money to screw things up.

I HAVE THE CONCEPT OF A PLAN!
