NC Kansas | The duramax forum guys have assured me I'm overreacting... and I'm not really overreacting I'm just annoyed that 50+ years of gooseneck configurations and all of a sudden "it's OK" behind the rear axle. And I'm guessing it's mostly cause of cab clearance for certain trailers. Which is all fine and dandy I guess just feel like with the cost of newer HD trucks they would be designed to maximize payload/handling to perfection. My 2018 ram with the same configuration and I believe a slightly shorter box sits comfortably in front of the axle. | |
