oregon | Many autumns ago, I shot a skunk in a culvert, dug a hole with the backhoe in the dry ditch and got a long stick and pushed the skunk out so it dropped into the hole. I then threw a pile of old pallets and a bucket of diesel on the pile and lit it. After it burned and then sat for a couple weeks, I dumped a load of dirt over it. The next spring, I was backhoeing the ditch and when I got to that area, I could still smell skunk. | |
