Look up roofing suppliers. The stuff you want is called Modified Asphalt. Comes in square blocks you place in a small asphalt heater. Foundation waterproofing guys use the stuff also, so check them out. A roofer doing modified roofs will have the equipment, but they usually don't loan or rent them out, due to liability issues. Suppliers usually carry a trowel grade modified adhesive, but it takes a lot longer to cure, and stinks a lot. The product is like the roofing underlayment called Bituthene, hence, we called it "bitch in a bucket".
