Not for fiber!

There is technology that is readily available that will perform just as well as a wire if you know how to configure it.  If you're going to bury anything put a conduit down and run a pre terminated fiber cable.  You avoid any potential grounding issues with fiber plus its fast.  FWIW.....I've got an 8,000 ft wireless link that is running 5 cameras (on their own wireless links back to the tower) that has been stable for 5 years.  Its not the fastest connection but it works great.  I'll probably upgrade the hardware in the near future to make it faster.
