I went thru the testing of the wire harness and it all checked out. I was going to put on a new regulator but it is on backorder. Found a new alternator on the internet for a decent price and put it on and has ran several days with no problems.
I did notice the Gleaner runs the same 8SC alternator but at 185 amps.
