London, Ontario, Canada | My Dell laptop received 2 updates on the 8th overnight. I run SmartPSS to use my CCTV. Since the update I am unable to access the cameras. The app opens and it shows all the cammeras but the have a red circle on them. Everything works fine from my Iphone. Everything works on a tv screen hardwired to DVR.
1 hour on the phone with Dahua who makes the DVR and they say download new software. I did that and updated to their latest version. Same problem.
1 hour on the phone with Microsoft and he accessed my laptop and removed 1 of the updates but that didn't change anything. He then said uninstall app and reload. I said I had the latest and he said he was done.
Funny thing as it asked for a rating on the service and I gave them a 3. The guy still had access at that point and jumped the rating to a 5 and then logged off.
Any suggestions?
