Subject: Land grabs in Texas

I don't have time to try and fully explain what you won't see or hear on most any news platform. The media will say it's just for lake construction and supplying Dallas or Wichita Falls. HA Unfortunately there are too many who swallow what the news media presents as the whole truthful story. Some hear whatever version is told and just go with that. No critical thinking involved. Just hear what is told and maybe even retell it as the gospel. Nothing new there.

Observed the ranch land being sold off when some in the way of Marvin Nichols Reservoir knew it was time to get out. Bois d’Arc Lake is another fine example of what may look OK on paper and sound like an answer to Dallas' water needs. There is much more to it than water supply. No I'm not against things simply because it involves farm and ranch land development. Some won't care ever since it's not in their backyards. Contagious mentality right there.

Could be you won't find out the truth online either. Land mitigation is a deceitful term. The Governor is supposedly against what is going on. Not sure if he is being truthful or not.
None of the other wasteful lake projects were stopped. I don't see why this one would be either. Those behind it all want to resell land for development along the shores for big money and increased tax revenue. It's never just about water supply. At least not in that state. I don't recognize what that state has become. Politics is always involved.
