Calories aren’t the exact science many see them as. And weight isn’t all the same either.

If the heavier twin is just fat he will burn more calories, but not a lot more. If he is all muscle he will burn significantly more calories. But not linear. What they have been eating can really change things too. It’s common for people to say eat X calories of whatever you want to loose/gain/ maintain weight. But reality is 2000 calories of ice cream isn’t the same as 2000 calories of chicken. Anyone with experience feeding animals can tell you, but for some reason the medical community cant.
