Bbq joints are good. Meat by the pound.

Fajitas at Mexican place. Corn tortillas if you don’t mind a few carbs. Veggies and salad instead of rice and beans.

Chicken wings with buffalo sauce, my fav. Be careful on sauce, buffalo is safe.

Steak always good. Most places have veggies

Burger joints work, sometimes I’ll eat the bottom bun if I’m super hungry.

If it’s a convenience store, beef jerky and pork rinds may be a safe bet.

If your on a budget hit up a Walmart about 1:00 and they usually have rotisserie chickens they have marked down cheap.
We usually travel with summer sausage from our hogs and cheese and a Bunch of hamburger patties. Wife may make a veggie tray, she makes fake ranch from yougurt I think and it’s almost as good.

I’m trying to stay away from processed food too, so no fast food or lunch meat type stuff.
