Graymont Illinois | I have been watching your foot problems for a long time, as I have very similar problems. I have had a small pressure ulcer under my left big toe off and on for 10 years. Not diabetic. Just had my 5th toe surgery for ulcer this year. This last one was a different surgery. A bungeon ectomy? Shorten my toe to take pressure off. Now my 2nd toe is 1" longer than big toe, and now it is taking all the walking pressure. The end of the second toe is raw , but is healing. New problem, getting old having foot problems. Last year I had a rebuild of left foot bones, charcot or arthritus. Had 2 titanium rods put in, non weight bearing. Same problem as you. Did not like crutches, or, knee scooter. I bought an another nonweight bearing device, no good. I used a wheel chair at first, but after graduating to foot boot, I still liked the wheel chair in the house. Wish you well, watching your progress. Now I have a laminectomy coming up in a couple weeks.
