East central MN. I have seen many of your posts and they have always intrigued me. One question I have would be from a rotation standpoint have you found it beneficial to swap corn to beans/rye then back to corn the next year or make a 3-year rotation as best a guy can with not having equal acres. As to nutrient scavenging, or at least retaining nutrients from manure over winter, have you had a concoction you found better than others. I know there are many blends with this and that in them that claim to be great, and they may be. I know of other guys that blow some rye out there and get along just fine as well. No sense in spending more on a cover than need be, but not wanting to skimp and not give it its fair shake.
