It seems that lamb needs to be cooked both very slowly and allowed to drip. Just grilling lamb would not be good, cooked too fast. Crock pot lamb would be terrible, it’s not allowed to drip.

The only time I’ve had lamb that I can really say I liked was at a friend’s farm in South Africa. They take their braai very seriously, and he had advantages such as the proper Australian Gumwood for the fire and 150 years of family experience toward getting it right.
