East Palestine, Ohio (Columbiana Co.) | I had similar pain issues, thought it was from looking back while planting, farming, etc. Nothing would get rid of it, but hot shower, rubbing icy hot on, things like that would help some to provide temporary relief, but the pain always came back. Then one morning when I woke up something was different- my leg didn’t work right and I was very tired. My bride tricked me into going to ER, and turned out I had a stroke. A chunk of plaque broke loose in an artery and had caused a blockage in my head, that had been causing pain in my neck which disappeared after the stroke occurred. It took an mri to reveal this, so if all else fails go get it checked out and don’t wait for the stroke cure.
I was lucky as I walked into the hospital and 5 days later I walked out. Took a few months to regain most of strength and function back. I was 58 at the time.
