NW IL | Yes, Our experience is that corn almost always takes on moisture in Nov. (Edit, or at least it stops drying..)
If you go to the Iowa State Corn drydown calculator (Not sure how well it works outside of the immediate Iowa area??) and set the the date for early Oct you'll see the historic graph tends to go up in Nov. Rains and sorter days to dry out again. Part of the reason why beans a nightmare to get dry this time of year.
