If you fill it with 50% silage you would have roughly 70 tons of silage, at 60% roughly 90 tons. Going to need some hungry steers to empty that in a year. With 10 steers you would only be taking a few inches a day at most off the top. Be hard to keep ahead of spoilage at that feed rate, especially in warm weather.
