Scpa | Curvature of the earth doesn't affect lasers. I spent 30 years using them for sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and grading sites. What DOES affect them is the sun and wind. If you are using it in a pipe and shooting a beam down that pipe, ithe beam will dance if the sun can in any way affect the pipe or laser. In that same token, if wind can blow through the pipe it will make the beam dance. Also this was in a maximum of 300ft runs and we were laying dead nuts. If it's a surface used unit the same applies. We never trusted a laser past 300 feet. | |
