What he is saying is that the curvature doesn't effect the laster and thats where error can be. A laser is going to give you a straight plain...but youn have to take into curvature with a run that long with very little grade. Thats where rtk would be a world of difference because you cant afford to be wrong with those runs or your tile wont work correctly.
