Camp Douglas Wi. 40miles nw of wi. dells | Spring of 2018 I a was 66 and took SS as I was FRA. I’m still involved financially with our family farm.
If I would have taken SS at 62 would have payed all my SS back. At 66 can/could make all I want on farm and not pay any back, so was no brainer.
Also broke even on my 72 birthday far as taking SS at 66 over 62, some of that has to do with making good bank in those 4 years. To brake even taking at 70 0ver 66 I’d have to live to 82.
Also my wife is 6 years younger than me with longevity on her family side. Her and I had discussed the age to take SS to what would work best for us.
If I make 81 will making history on Dads side. Mom died at 68, Dad 75, my youngest brother last May at 54. All 3 from heart attacks.
You need to discuss with your family what’s the best plan for you. |
