Go to a street dance, concert, machine shed party, or bonfire or muddin' or whatever the heck kids do these days. Got a friend in college &/or trade school? Go hang out for a fun weekend! And don't get hung up on meeting the one just have fun! How about a buddy with a sister or cousin? Ask his girl cousins if they have any single friends to set him up with.
Came home from college to run around at the Santa fe trail days dance. Hokey pokey small town affair, but friends were having a house party. Mutual friend introduced me to my husband. Been married since dirt was new.
