| That’s pretty much the method I used to figure weight bearing percentage after my accident. Stood on scale on good leg for weight measure, then hold myself up with arms pushing down on walker, switch to bum leg and start easing off arm pressure till I hit 25% of measure weight. You get the feeling in both your arms and bum leg to gauge where you should be. I’d check it every couple days for the 1st week and after a couple times I could get pretty consistent. Mine was 25% for 4 weeks, then 50% for 4 weeks..etc. Good luck. The worst is behind you. You’ll be motivating on your own before you know it. | |
