| I make more on the cash rent land than the 50/50.
I have been paying what the land across the fence from me rented for , only the land I rent has more terraces and lighter soil. I also do all maintence, so I am paying more than many, once that is figured in.
It is just when you are 50/50 your machinery costs double, instead of paying rent.
Actually more than double as they want things done like they did.
One also has to tailor inputs to the landlord. Planting and harvest times are also altered from the most profitable. | |
