That's what I have been doing. Screw the landlord with zero risk and overpriced rent. I will die and never see half the fruits of my labor. Hopefully my sons can continue on a 3 generation farm and not piss it all away and sell out. They should be able to, but I worry about their kids when they get older. Been a lot of sacrifices on my part. But very proud to say that we hardly rent any of that high priced junk any more. Let a ton of land go the past 5-8 years. I won't support someone else getting rich and while we go broke, just to farm it. Stock market and crypto has paid 20 times more then any farmland could of from those cash rent king landlords. |
