I'm not zero sugar, but try to use maple syrup and honey (mostly so that sugar isn't 'cheap' and I think about whether it is worth it).





I have found a couple studies that show that raw honey may actually have a net hypoglycemic effect. I.E. take a fasting blood glucose reading and eat a tablespoon of honey. Blood glucose will go up. Then it will go back down like it's supposed to, but in some instances it will go down to a level lower than the original fasting glucose level.

Just something I found interesting in my surfing of the internet.
