Cherokee iowa | Right up around my targets. It’s been a roller coaster couple weeks. Hope everyone had a successful ride. Could be a slower climb in the weeks ahead. Hopefully we can get that $195-6 in the next leg. Feeders are the leaders. Got some calves that will be fat in June of 26. The cattle battle rages. Cold weather in the south will slow the metabolism down and hopefully give a push to $196. Just be couple dollars short of where cash bids be. $197 no thank you the farmer said. Not quite finished. Hard to turn down $197 but when an animal isn’t ready it’s just not ready. Time is money and cattle need time. Close over $193.5 today is a bullish indicator too me. Godspeed to all that battle the cattle it’s a grosbeak market.
