Texas | I have some friends that are actually from Mexico . Yes they are legally here . Ate lunch with them for years . Those guys redefined HOT.
Oddest thing I ever saw was a goat head cooked , yep the skull was in the bowl . They would always offer me what they had to try . I passed that day .
Over the years , I learned what they ate is not what we eat here . Most of it was pretty good .
I’m probably not going to spell this right , but mediuo is pretty good , it’s kind of a red stew .
Their wives made food for all our shop meals . Those
Girls , could sure make some good food .
A lot of the other mechanics would not try it .
Their tomalies were very good too , one of my friends would take an order at the shop asking how many everyone wanted . One of my real good friends would say - your usual 10 . Yep
It’s very common here for the wives to make them to sell .
Probably not not allowed at JB now . ( they went woke ) back years ago . Wives would sell them at lunch table
