Personally I have made money every year of farming over the past 20 years. Some more than others but always a profit.
Same.
Never got an insurance payment big enough to make a difference though.
About the millionaires complaining comment, they might have a legitimate gripe. For the amount of equity we have tied up in the operation (not even counting land) the return this year is rather poor, and it looks even worse when you look at stock market performance and inflation.
