I’ve been doing the same things for my 94 yrold mother but the thing that was the biggest help was a digital blocker that goes on her landline to stop spam calls and soliciting calls.  These spammers know that elderly people most likely still,has a land line and they are relentless .  When dementia starts showing up they tend to do things they never would have otherwise like giving out banking info over the phone .  For medical reasons the landline needed to stay and this device from Amazon has stopped 100% of the scam calls .
