Alton, Ia | This advice is probably too late, but when we have drowned out spots, which we had lots of this year, they explode in TWH. We try to disk them lightly as soon as possible in the fall, the goal is to get germination yet in warm soil and then kill off when it freezes. Seems to work, we have cleaned up several spots over the years. Any reduction in the seed bank is a good thing. In season, spraying early with a good residual goes a long way. | |
