Subject: RE: Life line screening for stroke

Pittsburg, Kansas
We did that. My local heart doctor didn't want to do one. We did an on line search and found several hospitals that would do one. One place in KC was running a special for something like 50 or 100 dollars so we made an appointment and got it done. Took longer to do the paperwork than the test. Found out we could have done a walk in without appointment. This particular hospital does them all the time.

Nurse called in a couple days and verbally gave us results. Ask about making a follow-up appointment to discuss statins therapy. Told her no thanks, just mail us the report.

And that was that.

Mine was single digit. Like 6 or 9. Wifes was 150ish. So we both had some calcification but fortunately not extensive.
