What are you planting? Sizing residue starts with the combine. I grow COC and a chopping corn head is a no brainer. Can go right in after with the chisel plow and not have to worry about plugging even without dropping the disks in the front... If you have rocks a part of your crop budget should be spent getting rid of them...

NK/GH genetics by far are the leafiest and hardest to get though a combine and leave the most trash. Which for me I dont mind because its cow chow. Channel/Dekalb is usually the least. With Pionner/Brevant somewhere in the middle.
