Lower Indiana Hill Country | I am providing my observations and opinions for your consideration. Deduce your own conclusions.
The soybean chart is broken into 2 time frames, before 2006 and after 2006. Prices before '06 were nominally above $5.76 with brief spikes above $10. Since then there has been a $9 floor and 3 spikes above $16. The trend change periodicity is a nominal 6.4 years, and that presents the BIG QUESTION...which way now because in time we are there. The analysts are all rather bearish in soybeans and the fundamentals support their opinions. Personally, I am sold out of 24 crop. As in my other post...How do you put a fixed floor with an open ceiling for Wildcard occurrences and minimize losses to continue to next year.
Best wishes for a SAFE and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!
