I would buy land again, especially if it fits in with my farming operation. I would borrow most of the money to do it though, instead of liquidating my entire stock portfolio.
Our plan is to retire on the stock market assets, and keep the remaining land, which is near and dear to our family, in the family! The farm that was sold was a great investment, but by far the furthest away and had no family connection...
