EC Ks | Ground 2 bales straw per batch corn for full feeding steers. Grind 2 bales alfalfa per batch corn and feed 5# to calves on grass. KEY=== ,always fill grinder at least over bottom window with grain BEFORE putting in hay/ straw/ alfalfa. Roughage will wad up and rip auger tube loose inside grinder. I know form experience!!! I use a 1" screen to grind roughage. Grain will fluff quite a bit with hay mix and will NOT flow from cone bottom bins. All bales were small square.
